As a Documentum Developer, you will play a critical role in various aspects of our Documentum applications, including migrating from other enterprise CMS platforms to Documentum, upgrading legacy Documentum versions (such as Webtop to D2), and transitioning from on-premise to cloud-based servers. Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
1+ years of experience with Documentum platform, including application development, customization, and administration.
Experience with various Documentum migration and upgrade scenarios, such as transitioning from other enterprise CMS platforms, upgrading legacy Documentum versions (e.g., Webtop to D2), and moving from on-premise to cloud-based servers.
Knowledge and experience in the use of third-party migration tools like Migration Center for facilitating efficient and successful migrations and upgrades in the Documentum platform.
Strong knowledge of Documentum architecture, components, and APIs
Familiarity with third-party application integrations and API functionality.
Experience with cloud-based environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Knowledge of cloud-native technologies and containerization, such as Docker and Kubernetes, for deploying and managing Documentum applications in the cloud.
Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, XML, DQL, and SQL.
Experience with Web Services, XSLT, and XPath.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Experience with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Jira).

Roles & Responsibilities

Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather requirements and define the scope of various Documentum projects, including migrations from other enterprise CMS platforms, upgrades of legacy Documentum versions, and transitions from on-premise to cloud-based servers.
Design, develop, and configure customizations, workflows, and integrations within the Documentum platform to meet business requirements.
Analyze existing Documentum applications and identify necessary updates, changes, and improvements for various migration and upgrade scenarios.
Evaluate and understand third-party applications that integrate with Documentum, ensuring that existing integrations function as expected after migration or upgrades.
Verify and validate the functionality of APIs from third-party applications, identifying potential issues and working closely with relevant teams to ensure seamless integration with the Documentum platform.
Utilize third-party migration tools effectively to streamline and optimize the migration process, ensuring seamless transitions and reduced downtime during migrations and upgrades.
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the business processes supported by third-party integrations, enabling the creation of effective solutions to address potential challenges during and after migration.
Develop and implement migration strategies, processes, and tools to ensure seamless transitions and maintain data integrity and compliance with information governance policies.
Test and debug Documentum applications during migrations, upgrades, and cloud transitions to ensure functionality and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve issues during the development, migration, and maintenance of Documentum applications.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, user guides, process flows, and migration plans.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Documentum technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve our enterprise content management system.
Participate in regular code reviews and contribute to maintaining high development standards within the team.
Work closely with cloud infrastructure teams to ensure optimal application performance, security, and reliability during migrations from on-premise to cloud-based servers.
