We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Azure services and architecture, with a robust background in DevOps practices. This role involves automating application builds, managing Azure resources, and supporting various Azure components.

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • 8+ years of experience in the IT field with a focus on infrastructure support and DevOps.
  • 5+ years of experience working specifically in DevOps roles.

Technical Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft platform (IIS, .NET, Web Services, SQL Server, Windows Server, Clustering, Active Directory, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps and GitHub.
  • Experience in developing and supporting enterprise applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Familiarity with federated IdP (Okta preferred).
  • Experience with Okta and/or CyberArk is preferred.
  • Ability to connect on-premises technology to Cloud Offerings is preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Automate the building of application code using Build Pipeline in Azure DevOps.
  • Create, manage, and secure Azure Resource Manager (ARM) virtual machines.
  • Support and implement Azure components such as Azure Front Door, App Gateway, Azure API Management Services, Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure Storage (Blob).
  • Develop monitors and alerts for errors and performance using NewRelic.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD processes for various types of applications and automate as many processes as possible.
  • Work in an Agile environment to support individuals in adopting proper DevOps practices.
  • Manage the full release process, including producing deployment run books and implementation plans on source code branches and code merges.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert in Release Management, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery.
  • Support development teams in technical questions related to continuous integration and continuous delivery.
  • Maintain the source code repository in GitHub.
